Emma is a committed and determined individual with a Business Management Degree and a First Class Masters in Entrepreneurship from Manchester Business School. After 15 years of experience showing horses with wins and top placings at the National finals, attention to detail is well engrained. She is a former under 21 GB dressage squad member with wins up to PSG dressage and continues to compete at small tour level with the aim to go Grand Prix in the next few years. She has a passion for breeding dressage foals and sport horses, and is extremely knowledgeable on all the current thinking on equine reproduction in particular Embryo Transfer. She oversees all aspects of the stud and competition management including the careful selection of top class stallions to complement the genetic makeup of her embryo mares. She also has excellent relationships already established with top European breeders. Away from the stud Emma is also keen skier.

Former physio Jill now oversees the bookkeeping and administration side of MSJ, having been a full time mother of four (Emma has an older sister and two brothers, all of whom have competed in showing ponies and horses for nearly 18 years) she now has the role of head HGV driver and running all driver training with staff. Jill has a passion for all animals and can regularly be seen walking the black Labradors around the estate to ensure all is in good working order. Away from the yard Jill enjoys running the family home and eating out at Provenance Inn pubs.
